Julian got married on a perfect spring day.

Tessa stood at the altar as a bridesmaid, Emma asleep in a carrier against her chest, watching her twin brother promise forever to Madison.

“I, Julian, choose you,” Julian said, his voice thick with emotion. “Every day. In every moment. In every version of this life. You’re my person. My home. My everything.”

Madison was crying. Tessa was crying. Half the guests were crying.

“I, Madison, choose you too,” Madison said. “Forever. No matter what.”

They kissed. Everyone cheered. And Tessa felt her heart swell with happiness for her brother.

He’d found his person. His forever. Just like she’d found Liam.

At the reception, Julian pulled Tessa aside.

“Thank you,” he said.

“For what?”

“For not giving up on me. On us. For—for fighting to fix things even when I made it hard. If you hadn’t, I wouldn’t have this. Wouldn’t have her. So thank you.”

“You deserve happiness, Jules.”

“So do you. And you have it. Look at you. Married. Two kids. Living your best life. I’m so proud of you, Tess.”

“I’m proud of you too.”

They hugged. Twin to twin. Best friends. Finally—finally—fully healed.

“We came a long way,” Julian said.

“We did. From that awful fight to—to this. Both married. Both happy. Both—both where we’re supposed to be.”

“Think our kids will be close? Like we were?”

“I hope so. Leo already loves Emma. And when you and Madison have kids, they’ll all grow up together.”

“I want that. The whole cousin thing. Family dinners. Holidays. All of it.”

“We’ll have it. All of it. I promise.”

Liam appeared with Leo. “Sorry to interrupt. But Leo wants to dance with his mom.”

“Dance with me, Mama!” Leo grabbed her hand.

“Go,” Julian said. “Be with your family. I have to find my wife anyway.”

Wife. Julian had a wife. It was still surreal.

Tessa danced with Leo while Liam held Emma. Their little family. Complete. Happy. Everything.

“I love you, Mama,” Leo said.

“I love you too, baby.”

“And I love Emma. And Daddy. And Uncle Jules. And everyone.”

“We’re pretty lucky, huh?”

“The luckiest.”

After the wedding, life settled into a new normal.

Emma was crawling. Leo started kindergarten. Liam’s architecture firm was thriving. Tessa’s freelance work was steady.

They were busy. Exhausted. But happy.

So happy.

“I can’t believe Emma’s almost one,” Tessa said one evening.

“Time flies.”

“She’ll be walking soon. Talking. Growing up.”

“Don’t remind me. I’m not ready.”

“Me neither. But that’s parenthood, right? Watching them grow. Being proud and heartbroken all at once.”

“Yeah. That’s exactly it.”

They sat on the couch, Emma between them, Leo coloring at the table. A typical evening. Nothing special.

Except it was special. Because it was theirs. Their family. Their life.

“Hey Liam?”

“Yeah?”

“I’m happy. Really, truly happy. And I just—I wanted you to know that.”

“I know. I’m happy too.”

“Good. Because this—this is everything I ever wanted. And I don’t want to take it for granted.”

“We won’t. We’ll keep choosing this. Keep—keep building. Keep making it work.”

“Promise?”

“Promise.”

And Tessa believed him. Believed in them. In their family. In their forever.

They’d come so far. From that one reckless night to—to this. Marriage. Kids. A life they’d built together.

It wasn’t perfect. They still had hard days. Still struggled with exhaustion and balance and all the normal stuff.

But they had each other. Had their kids. Had—had love.

Real love. The kind that stayed. The kind that fought. The kind that—that chose. Every day.

And that was more than enough.

That was everything.
